This Baltimore Oriole on Orange carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. The common call of the Baltimore Oriole is a rich hew-li and it also give a series of rattles. The song is a musical, irregular sequence of hew-li and other notes. A common breeder in deciduous woodlands over much of the East, Some Baltimore Orioles winter in the South.
