This Pair of Indigo Buntings carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. A member of the Cardinal family, Indigo Bunting Adult males have a deep-blue plumage with wings and tail being black with blue edges. The adult females are brown with darker on the upper parts of the body and faintly streaked underneath. Commonly found in woodland clearings and borders.
