Mini (5.5-inch) Mourning Dove
This Mini (5.5-inch) Mourning Dove carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. The Mourning Dove has a trim body and the long tail tapers to a point. There are black spots on the upper-wing and a pinkish wash below. During flight, white tips on the outer tail feathers can be seen.
