This Mini (4.5-inch) Female Cardinal carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. Both Cardinal sexes have a conspicuous crest and a cone-shaped bill. The female is buffy-brown or buffy-olive, tinged with red on the wings, crest and tail.
