This Mini (5-inch) Male Cardinal carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. Juvenile Cardinals are browner overall than adults of the species and have a dusky bill. Cardinals are abundant throughout the eastern United States, living in woodland edges, swamps, streamside thickets and suburban gardens.
