This Cedar Waxwing carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. The call of the Cedar Waxwing is a soft, high-pitched, trilled whistle. This species is found in open habitats where berries are available and also eats insects, flower petals and sap. The species is highly gregarious in migration and winter.
