Male and Female Eastern Bluebirds
This Male and Female Eastern Bluebird carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. The Male Eastern Bluebird tends to be uniformly deep blue above as verses the female being grayer, but either can be easily distinguished from the Western Bluebird by the their distinctive chestnut coloring on the throat and sides of neck and by their white, not grayish, belly and under-tail.
