This White-crowned Sparrow carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. The White-crowned Sparrow has a black-and-white striped crown with a pink, orange or yellowish bill. Other features include a whitish throat and underparts that are mostly gray. This bird is generally found in woodlands, grasslands and roadside hedges.
