This Peach-faced Lovebird carving was hand-crafted from solid Basswood. The Peach Faced Lovebird is one of the most popular of the Lovebird species. It is often described as a large Parrot in a little body. Possessing many of the characteristics of the larger parrots, like the ability to mimic and imitate sounds such as noises and whistles, Peach Faced Lovebirds do not in general posses the ability to speak. Some of the most common color mutations include: Creamino, Lutino, Orange Faced, White Faced Blue, Blue Pied Dilute, Fallow, and Cinnamon.
